Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmed Memon joined Mehran University College of Engineering and Technology (MUCET) Nawabshah in 1985, as student of Civil Engineering Department. In 1990, he joined the same Department as member of teaching staff. In 1996, he proceeded abroad for Masters Degree in Structural Engineering on Cultural Scholarship from TongJi University, Shanghai, China. Dr. Memon received his Ph.D Degree in Structural Engineering in 2004 from TongJi University Shangai China.

At present he is working as Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Nawabshah, Sindh, Pakistan.

Dr. Memon is a life time member of Pakistan Engineering Council and Institute of Engineers Pakistan. He is also HEC (Higher Education Commission) approved Supervisor for Ph.D Degree students, and actively engaged in research activities related to Structural Engineering.
